A Way Out presents an orignal approach to playing in co-op. The game tells a story of Leo and Vincent who are trying to survive imprisoned planning to run away and even work together after the escape, constantly watching their backs. The game is rendered in split-screen, even when you play using the internet connection, asking one person to finish the mission when the other watches a cutscene.
The game is directed by Josef Fares, the author of wonderful Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. He's quite a confident fella and every time you see him during a press conference, be sure to have your popcorn ready as his presence is sometimes more entertaining that the main shows, just look at last year's EA's E3 pre-show. Be sure to check out the long Eurogamer's gameplay with his commentary below:
From the creators of Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons comes A Way Out, an exclusively co-op adventure where you play the role of one of two prisoners making their daring escape from prison. What begins as a thrilling breakout quickly turns into an unpredictable, emotional adventure unlike anything seen or played before.
A Way Out is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on March 23, 2018.
