Assassin's Creed Valhalla has been giving players a lot to talk about, after it was officially announced by Ubisoft a couple of weeks ago, and for good reason; the new entry in the series is looking better than ever, and the trilers are solid proof of it.
While the promised gameplay trailer for Assassin's Creed Valhalla may have had some players up in arms, mainly because it barely featured any gameplay in it, most agree on the fact that the gamer looks great and are simply excited to finally get to play it.
Ubisoft has shared a tonne of information about the upcoming title, and the latest bit of information has revealed that Assassin's Creed Valhalla will be running at a stable 30 frames per second. This may be somewhat disappointing news, however, considering that players expect to get a next-gen experience out of it.
"Assassin's Creed Valhalla will run at a minimum of 30 FPS. On Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, we are committed to offer the best experience to our players by immersing them in the most beautiful worlds and environments we could create, and leveraging not only the graphics enhancements offered by the next generation of consoles, but also faster loading times and the new architectures," read a statement that Ubisoft issued to IGN.
We still haven't seen the game running in-engine, but a stable 30 FPS is somewhat expected from any current-gen title, and this is why Ubisoft not promising a stable 60 FPS for Assassin's Creed Valhalla is disappointing news. With that said, the series has always ran at 30 FPS, so maybe players won't mind this at all.
