Assassin's Creed Odyssey is the first game in the series that gives players the choice to select whether they want to play as a male or female character. While previous
Assassin's Creed titles have featured either a female or male protagonist,
Odyssey has two different characters, Kassandra and Alexios, that go through the exact same story.
So, basically, Kassandra and Alexios are the very same person, but they are obviously played by two different performers, and today Ubisoft has released a new behind the scenes video itnroducing us to Melissanthi Mahut and Michael Antonakos, who play Kassandra and Alexios respectively.
This behind the scenes video for
Assassin's Creed Odyssey shows us how the performers did the motion capture for the cutscenes, as well as some of the combat movements, and how they coordinated in order to read the same lines but in their own, distinctive style that gave Kassandra and Alexios similar, and yet somewhat different personalities.
