BATTLEFIELD 6 Closed And Open Beta Dates Reportedly Revealed

Following earlier leaks, there are now reports reports that there will be both a Closed Beta and Open Beta for Battlefield 6 in August.

Earlier this month, EA and DICE confirmed that Battlefield 6 will be having an Open Beta, but did not elaborate on the post with any sort of details. Thanks to Insider-Gaming's report, we now have the dates.

According to the website's unnamed sources, EA will be hosting two beta sessions during the month of August, both a Closed Beta and an Open Beta. The CLosed Beta will begin on Thursday, August 7th and run until Friday, August 8th.

Those who pre-order Battlefield 6 will reportedly receive a Closed Beta code. Otherwise, you can try to obtain one through Twitch drops by watching content creators who stream footage of the game during the multiplayer reveal.

It's believed that this Closed Beta weekend will also have an "Open Beta" phase that runs from August 9th through August 10th.

In addition to this first weekend, a second Beta weekend will be held from August 14th through August 17th. This will be a full-fledged Open Beta, meaning anyone should be able to play.

EA shared the first official trailer for Battlefield 6 earlier this month. The explosive trailer gave us our first look at the highly anticipated next installment in the long-running first-person shooter franchise. The trailer revealed the overall synopsis of the the story behind Battlefield 6, while also showcasing the grand scale combat that awaits.

The trailer was mostly focused on the campaign aspect of Battlefield 6, but details shown, such as environmental destruction and vehicular combat, also apply to the game's multiplayer. Speaking of, EA has already confirmed that the Multiplayer Reveal for Battlefield 6 will take place on Thursday, July 31st 11:30 AM PDT / 2:30 PM EDT.

The livestream willf eature develoeprs from Battlefield Studios as they showcase a mixture of gameplay across Battlefield 6's suite of modes and maps. Following the presentation, fans can tune in to various content creators who will be sharing their own Battlefield 6 gameplay streams. Presumably, you will be able to get some beta codes by watching these streams.

Battlefield 6 does not yet have a release date although a recent leak suggests the game could launch on October 10th
