Assassin's Creed took us to many countries in many different time-lines. The first one let us be a part of The Third Crusade, the Ezio trilogy showed the players the beauty and ugly face of Renaissance in Italy and Constantinople, and that was just the begging of our long journey. Thanks to a small bunch of new concept art, it looks like we were really close to a fight for the free will in the feudal Japan.
John Bigorgne, who's a concept artist at Ubisoft Montreal has updated his Artstation account and besides admiring his stellar work on
Watch_Dogs 2 and
For Honor we've learned some detail about the series past and possible future. As you can see below, Ubisoft has clearly worked on setting an
Assassin's Creed game in Japan.
Will the developer ever return to this idea? It's hard to say, as Origins has started Bayek's trilogy (if the plans didn't change) and our next stop should be the ancient Greece. Be sure to comment and check out the concept art below!
