The first episode of
Assassin's Creed Odyssey's second post-launch story arc,
The Fate of Atlantis, is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on April 23rd, Ubisoft has officially announced. In the
Fields of Elysium chapter, Alexios or Kassandra (depending on the player's choice) will journey into the Greek afterlife, where they'll battle the forces of the Isu amid the otherworldly beauty of the titular paradise.
In the complex
Assassin's Creed universe, the Isu, also known as the First Civilization, are an ancient and highly-advanced species of humanoid and god-like beings who created the all-powerful Pieces of Eden, as well as the human race itself. As a reminder,
The Fate of Atlantis will continue with two more episodes,
Torment of Hades and
Judgment of Atlantis, and will conclude at some point in mid-2019.
The
Fields of Elysium expansion will give you a chance to face even more Greek gods and mythical creatures, and to make the challenge a bit more even, the player will find new Legendary items and get the opportunity to unlock enhanced versions of existing abilities, including Ares Bull Charge, Ares Madness, Kronos Time Warp, and Might of Artemis, with more to be added in the upcoming episodes.
