Ubisoft Temporarily Removes The Epic Mercenary Events From ASSASSIN'S CREED ODYSSEY Altogether

Assassin's Creed Odyssey's first live event was supposed to start on the 18th of October, giving you a chance to face challenging battles and earn Epic and Legendary rewards that would alternate between Epic Mercenary and Epic Ship contracts. The event was destined to give players level 30 and above a unique opportunity to participate in limited time contracts, similarly to the Hitman series.

It looks like players will have to wait to hunt those epic mercenaries for quite some time. "Two weeks ago, when we attempted to launch the first Epic Mercenary Event with Damais the Indifferent, we discovered that the content didn’t properly appear for a majority of our players,” Ubisoft explained. "It wasn’t satisfactory to have an event available to only a portion of our players, so we decided to temporarily remove the Epic Mercenary Events from the game altogether until the issue is resolved."

Ubisoft is working on a fix hoping to introduce them later this month with an updated ETA as soon as possible. In the meantime, the studio will activate 1x Epic Ship Event each week moving forward. As a thank you for players' patience and understanding, Ubisoft will be activating a discount of -80 Orichalcum for the Legendary item that Sargon (Oikos of the Olympians) will sell next week.
