According to Kotaku, there was a Suicide Squad co-op video game in development at WB Montreal for over 2 years but development on that project was recently halted. The decision reportedly came down from key executives who felt the project was no longer viable. Instead, the studio behind the Arkham prequel installment, Batman: Arkham Origins, will be reorganizing and focusing on another Batman game. The catch? This new installment will reportedly star Damian Wayne as the Caped Crusader, not Bruce Wayne.
Previously, rumors surfaced concerning the new Batman game which placed the game a decade in the future, with Damian suiting up as The Bat and being mentored by an older/broken Bruce Wayne while fighting alongside Dick Grayson's Nightwing. With a reputable outlet like Kotaku now echoing, it seems this rumor will likely prove true.
