Warner Bros. Montreal are best known for developing
Batman: Arkham Origins. That game debuted back in 2014 and they're yet to release another. However, it's long been rumoured and has been officially confirmed that the studio is working on another game (or two) based the DC Comics franchise.
Given the amount of time since anything's been heard from the Canadian studio, you may have assumed that their DC projects have been disintegrated. Well, apparently not. Osama Dorias, Senior Game Designer at Warner Bros. Montreal, recently took to social media (
@osamadorias) to reignite the flame by reaffirming that the studio are working on a DC Comics-based video game.
The studio have seemingly been working on this DC game for quite some time. We can only assume and hope that they'll be dropping official announcements and teasers sometime soon. An upcoming announcement appears to be what Dorias is teasing in a follow-up tweet (which you can check out below). We'll just have to wait and see.
Currently, no information has been revealed about the game. Is it about an individual character or does it span the entire DC Comics franchise? Could it be a continuation of Rocksteady's
Batman: Arkham game series? We simply don't have a clue.
