BATMAN: RETURN TO ARKHAM Said To Be Aiming For A November Release Date
It was recently revealed that the remastered Batman: Return to Arkham had lost its release date just weeks before it was set to reach stores, and now a new report sheds some light on when we'll get to play it.
When the first trailer for Batman: Return to Arkham was released, many people pointed out the fact that the remastered versions of Arkham Asylum and Arkham City actually looked worse than in the original games. Despite that, th news that it would no longer meet its July release date still came as surprise, especially as Warner Bros. would later state that it had been delayed "indefinitely."
However, Eurogamer now reports that the game - which is set to be released on PS4 and Xbox One - is being held back until at least November. Should that fall through though, it looks like we'll be waiting for I until NEXT YEAR! So, what's the problem? The site adds that the, "postponement centres around the quality of the port from Chinese developer Virtuous Games, with frame-rate mentioned as a major issue." That's not good, especially after what happened with the PC version of Arkham Knight.
Warner Bros. wouldn't comment on this (other than issuing the same statement as before), but news like this is bound to come as a disappointment to those looking forward to replaying these games on the current generation of consoles. Here's hoping they can sort these issues sooner rather than later.
