Thanks to COVID-19, Gotham Knights has been hit by a series of delays, and we're now not expecting to get hands-on with this one until sometime in 2022. In the wake of Batman's death in Arkham Knight, the spotlight will be put on Robin, Batgirl, Nightwing, and Red Hood, but very little has been revealed about how that foursome will be squaring off with.

We do know that Mr. Freeze and the Court of Owls will factor into proceedings, but has another of the game's big bads now been revealed?

According to a listing on IMDb (meaning we're definitely taking this with a pinch of salt for now, Elias Toufexis (Adam Jenson in Dues Ex) has been enlisted to play Oswald Cobblepot, a.k.a. The Penguin. This would be a first for the actor, and points to Nolan North not reprising his role from the Arkham series.

It's worth noting that those Deus Ex games were made by Eidos Montreal, close neighbours to Gotham Knights developer WB Montreal. The actor's other credits include Back 4 Blood, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and The Expanse.

The Penguin has a history with Nightwing and is likely one of many villains looking to fill the void left in Gotham City by The Batman's demise. After all, there's bound to be something of a power vacuum, hence why these four members of the Bat-Family are forced to team up and try to protect Gotham City.

We'll keep you guys updated as we learn more.
