CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE Reveals Its Post Launch Content
The next big shooter game in the popular franchise of Call of Duty, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, has released a new blog post regarding its post launch content. Here's everything that's coming.
Developer Activision has released a blog post detailing the post launch content of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The company states that it wants to break down walls with this roadmap as well as bring the community together. Here are some bullet points shared by it:
Introducing crossplay to unite the community across platforms for the first time.
Removing Season Pass and a la carte DLC multiplayer map packs to ensure everyone can play together.
Delivering free post-launch multiplayer maps and modes for all players.
Releasing post-launch multiplayer maps and modes simultaneously on all platforms.
The developer has also confirmed that it will be releasing a Battle Pass system and not a traditional shooter loot box system like Star Wars Battlefront 2. Fans of games like Fortnite and Apex Legends are probably used to and know these systems already. Just like those two games, Modern Warfare will offer a free and a premium battle pass.
This battle pass system will not release with the game on October 25th. Here is a link to the official post where the developer goes into full detail on what is coming. As more information and roadmaps come out, we will let you know. Comment down below what you are most excited for!
