There are a lot of great games on the way in 2017, but no doubt plenty more which have yet to be announced throughout the rest of the year. What those will remain to be seen, but Hideaki Itsuno has now revealed on Twitter that he's preparing to announce a new title in the very near future. "I exert myself in order to announce a new game this year," he said before adding only: "Thank you."

It sounds like the Devil May Cry director is already hard at work on it, but with him only set to announce it in 2017, chances are it probably won't be released until 2018. However, what might it be?

Well, there have been rumblings of a Devil May Cry 5 for some time now, while Dragon's Dogma 2 is also a possibility. It's worth bearing in mind that it could be something completely brand new, though, so we're just going to have to wait and see. There's been no word on when this announcement will come either, but feel free to let us know your thoughts and theories on Itsuno's comments below.
