Hitman 2 is a global adventure, allowing players to take targets down all around the world, from Colombia, New Zealand, Miami, North Atlantic, Mumbai, to one extra US location titled Skunk. The upcoming sequel will also introduce a brand new mode called Sniper Assassin, which will give you a unique chance to compete and team-up with other players to hunt and kill specified targets together.

IO and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have lifted the review embargo, as the first verdicts on Hitman 2 are slowly pouring in. According to the vast majority of critics, Hitman 2 doesn’t add much of note to the structure of its predecessor and thus feels more like Hitman 1.5 than a full-blown sequel. The game still is a pleasing experience, currently sitting at 80% with 18 reviews on Metacritic.

IGN has uploaded a brand new video that spotlights the first mission. It brings you to the moonlit beaches and roaring waves off the coast of Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand, allowing you to enjoy a moonlit stroll and retire for the evening on the deck of a highly secured luxury beach house. It looks like the game uses most of its predecessor's mechanics, but it's not necessarily a bad thing. Check it out:

Travel the globe and track your targets across exotic sandbox locations in HITMAN 2. From sun-drenched streets to dark and dangerous rainforests, nowhere is safe from the world’s most creative assassin, Agent 47 in the ultimate spy thriller story.

Hitman 2 will release for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 November 13, 2018.
