You Can Now Buy The KOJIMA Mascot For A Small Fee ($2,000 Dollars)
Kojima Productions is giving fans the opportunity to finally own their very own Ludens, the towering armored space suit clad man. Kojima is partnering with Sideshow to bring a 5 foot tall statue version of the famed mascot to your living room. Click the jump for more details.
If you're a fan of Kojima Productions then you're pretty familiar with the mascot that goes with the name, the man in the skull mask and pretty bulky space suit. Well, Kojima Productions is teaming up with Sideshow Collectibles to allow you to purchase said mascot in the form of a 5ft tall statue. Heres the kicker: the statue costs $2,000 dollars. However, the Sideshow website allows for you to pre-order the statue, and even pay monthly fees of $225. So you can spare out your payments between now and when the statues are completed.
The reason for the price is more than likely because there are only going to be 150 of the statues made, not to mention all of them will have a special signature by Kojima himself as well as LED lights placed inside the helmet. The statues are expected to deliver between January March 2018, so it's still a long way out before you'll get your hands on the things, but you can expect them to be as awesome in appearance as they look in the pictures below.
