One of the things that Capcom has always done with the Resident Evil series is give players some extra outfits for the in-game characters to wear after beating the game's main campaign. The
Resident Evil 2 remake will not be the exception to this rule, although these outfits will actually be included in the
Deluxe Edition and
Collector's Edition of the long-awaited game.
Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition and
Collector's Edition will be including a bunch of collectibles for players to enjoy, as well as a bunch of new outfits for the main characters, Leon and Claire, to wear. Leon's special outfits include the Arklay County Sheriff, which is a nod to a character that was first introduced in the original
Resident Evil 2 for a brief moment before getting killed, as well as a Noir costume.
Claire Redfield, unlike Leon, is actually getting 3 outfits that includes a Noir version like Leon's, a Military costume, and an Elza Walker outfit, which is a nod to the original female lead in the 1998
Resident Evil 2 before the developers went with Claire as the main lead.
