Capcom just keeps spoiling their fans by releasing new information aboutthe highly anticipated
Resident Evil 2 remake, which aims to become one of the best titles in the series.
So far, we know that the game will still feature 2 campaigns; each focusing on different characters. Much like the original
Resident Evil 2, players will be able to begin the game as either Leon S. Kennedy or Claire Redfield, but their stories have been tweaked a bit in the remake—making the game's overall story fresh, and yet familiar.
Capcom Unity has recently shared a new batch of screenshots from the
Resident Evil 2 remake, featuring Claire and Sherry—the girl with an intriguing connection to the event that accompanied Claire in some sections of the original game. In the remake, Claire is still looking for her older brother Chris(who was the main character in the first
Resident Evil game) and that's what's led her to Raccoon City.
These screenshots are in-game pics taken from some gameplay of the
Resident Evil 2 remake at this year's Gamescom. In this gameplay, Claire runs into Sherry—who has been abandoned and is found hiding in the sewers. We also get some pics featuring the
G Second Form that fans of the original game may recongise instantly.
