Gory RESIDENT EVIL 7 Launch Trailer Released By Capcom
With Resident Evil 7 hitting retailer shelves today, Capcom has released a new "launch" trailer which may sway those teetering on the edge of whether to make a purchase.
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard has officially been released worldwide (save Japan, where it will hit retailer shelves on the 26th). For a little over two decades, playing the Resident Evil games have been about as close as one could come to living out a real life horror movie.
For Biohazard, Capcom decided to take that experience to the next level as the game will be the first "main" installment played entirely in the first-person perspective. Though gamers will have a new visual experience in Biohazard, the game is a return to basics of sorts as developers have stated that players shouldn't expect a gun fight and that a great emphasis was placed on puzzle solving and resource management.
In another departure from series norms, quicktime events will be entirely absent.
Check out the launch trailer below and if you're currently playing, give us your first impressions in the comment section.
