We have good news for Xbox One and PC owners today as Capcom has finally confirmed that Resident Evil 7's "Beginning Hour" demo is coming to both systems on December 9th and December 19th respectively. They'll both include the "Midnight" update which was added during Sony's PlayStation Experience event, and as a bonus, the PC version will include, "a multitude of PC-specific settings and graphics options to adjust to your liking for the best possible experience with Resident Evil 7."
"Midnight" is supposed to be the final update to the demo, and it's set to help bring the story teased by the trial to a close as we "finally see how everything comes together." It also gives players, "the opportunity to explore what lies beyond the mold-covered door," so that's a good incentive to try it.
Don't feel too left out if you're a PlayStation 4 owner though as Capcom has released a patch which adds 4K and HDR support for PS4 Pro owners. Resident Evil 7 is set to be released on January 24th next year on all major formats. Have you tried out the demo yet? Let us know in the comments section...
