Marvel's Spider-Man. Not only has the game been praised by critics and gamers alike, but sales are also showing how well the game has been doing since it launched on the
7th of September.
Marvel's Spider-Man is on track to becoming the fastest-selling game of 2018, according to a recent report by GamesIndustry.biz, by managing to outsell Santa Monica Studio's
God of War. Oddly enough, both are PlayStation 4 exclusives and it is very likely that both will end up being pitted against each other for this year's Game of the Year award.
According to the United Kingdom's GfK Chart-Track,
Marvel's Spider-Man is currently sitting at the Top 1 position for its second consecutive weekend. Santa Monica's
God of War managed to stay in the Top 1 position for five weeks straight, which is an impressive feat by itself.
If everything goes well for
Marvel's Spider-Man, it could end up beating
God of War's record but it is rather unlikely that it'll manage to beat
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, the current record holder,
which managed to stay in the Top 1 position for an impressive 8 weeks straight.
