Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales was officially revealed during Sony PlayStation's recent games showcase — wherein they also unveiled the design of the PlayStation 5 console.
It's a follow-up to Marvel's Spider-Man from 2018, which was a PlayStation 4-exclusive title. In the same vein, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be a PlayStation 5-exclusive title. In fact, the follow-up is a launch title for the upcoming next-generation console.
Keep your expectations in check, though, as it seems Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be more of an intermediary follow-up rather than a full-blown sequel — find out more about that here. Though, of course, there will still be an actual full-blown sequel eventually.
Many had speculated and come up with their own concepts for what the PlayStation 5 console would look like. Similarly, many have even tried their hand at designing PlayStation 5 box art. For instance, here's what the box art for Horizon Forbidden West will likely look like.
Alas, PlayStation has unveiled the official box art for Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales and, in doing so, has officially revealed what the box art for PlayStation 5 games will look like. It's modern and sleek, just like the console itself.
The blue plastic shell has been maintained but the actual box art itself now features white and black aspects — rather than what was previously white and blue. Check it out below (via @PlayStation):
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales comes exclusively to PlayStation 5 in Holiday 2020.
