Possible SPIDER-MAN SPOILER Revealed Thanks To Leaked Funko Pop Figure
With just two weeks to go until Spider-Man is released, a Funko Pop figure may have just revealed a pretty significant plot point in the highly anticipated video game so hit the jump to check it out...
Despite there being only two weeks to go until Spider-Man is released on the PlayStation 4, Insomniac Games has managed to avoid any major spoilers for the game leaking online, including the identity of the Sinister Six's leader. However, a Funko Pop which has seemingly been leaked online in advance of it actually going on sale in stores reveals that we'll see Spidey's Negative Zone suit in the video game.
It is, of course, feasible that this will just be one of many alternate costumes which players can unlock but the fact it's been given its own Pop is very interesting and there's already a lot of speculation that we'll either end up visiting the Negative Zone in Spider-Man or its presence has something to do with lead villain, Mister Negative. Perhaps this is basically a negative (well, evil) version of the wall-crawler?
It's hard to say but taking a trip into the Negative Zone is something we've never been given the opportunity to do in a Spider-Man video game and that would definitely help this release stand out from past efforts. It's hard to say for sure as this Pop could mean something or a whole lot of nothing but there's not much time to go until we find out one way or another. Roll on September 7th, eh?
