A few days ago, it was reported that Spider-Man has a huge debut in Japan. The Insomniac Games and Sony title debuted in first position, placing more than 126,000 units in just a few days on sale. Now it is Media Create, the provider of the data, which informs that it would have used up all of its initial stock.

The video game sold 96.17% of its initial stock, something that would have forced many players to buy the digital version of the title on PlayStation 4. In fact, the possibility of getting a physical copy would be impossible, with posters sold out in most of distributors and local businesses.

Providing a bit of perspective, the Insomniac Games Spidey game would be the best selling Spider-Man video game to date.

Media Create also informs that the special edition of PS4 Pro, with a very limited circulation, sold in its first week around 4,000 units in Japan. The console could have become an item for collectors.

The title would not only be having great success in Japan. In the United Kingdom, it has become the fastest-selling video game of the year.

Spider-Man is available for the PlayStation 4.
