If there's something that
Marvel's Spider-Man has—other than an amazing story, great controls, and interesting villains—is the sheer amount of suits players can choose to fight crime and swing around the city.
While the game offers a wide variety of suits for Spider-Man to wear at any time, Insomniac Games puts their own spin on the iconic red and blue suit for the main campaign.
Some fans were not 100% on board with the changes made to the suit, or at least they weren't at first, but the new suit in
Marvel's Spider-Man was specially designed by Insomniac Games in order to make the suit stand out in a unique kind of way.
The developers at Insomniac Games decided to go with a white spider logo instead of the traditional black logo because it made the suit, as well as the character, pop even more when swinging through the city.
In
Marvel's Spider-Man, players begin their journey wearing thew classic red and blue suit and they end up getting the one with the white logo as the story unfolds.
The suit is also designed in order to protect Spider-Man and the developers mention that the red is supposed to be made of a reinforced material, while the blue provides Spider-Man with flexibility and breathability. All of the white on the suit is made off a flexible carbon fiber material—giving him extra protection when punching or kicking enemies.
