Clementine's journey will come to an end during The Walking Dead: The Final Season once it releases in August.
Telltale Games recently announced that the season will debut with its first episode on August 14th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Pre-ordering the game becomes an option from June 8th to the release - players will be able to purchase the entire season for $19.99. , The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection, which includes all of the previous games in the series, acts as a pre-order bonus for those who pre-order for PS4 or Xbox One.
Taking place after the events of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier, the focus of The Final Season once again shifts to Clementine. She's now watching over a child of her own while attempting to become a leader like, her season one mentor, Lee. Telltale teases the finale, saying "define your relationships, fight the undead, and determine how Clementine's story ends."
In addition to the release date, some other details about the upcoming final season were also revealed.
The season will feature a higher quality of visuals as it will support both 4K and HDR on compatible televisions. The combat system is said to have been vastly improved as there are unscripted sequences, and a new over-the-shoulder view. Telltale is calling it the "most engaging The Walking Dead game yet."
We'll just have to wait and see if their statement holds true when The Walking Dead: The Final Season debuts on August 14th.
The Walking Dead: The Final Season is the fourth and final season of Telltale Games' The Walking Dead. It was confirmed at the end of "From The Gallows". It will mark the return of playable protagonist, Clementine, and Alvin Jr. It is set to be released in August of 2018.
