Ubisoft faces an embarrassment of riches. The publisher just released
Far Cry 5 (
breaking records left and right), announced
Tom Clancy's The Division 2, Beyond Good & Evil 2, Skull & Bones, and
The Crew 2, not to mention constant supporting "older" games, such as
Rainbow Six: Siege, For Honor, Steep, Assassin's Creed: Origins, South Park: The Fractured But Whole, and
Ghost Recon: Wildlands.
Well, it looks like Ubisoft still can't get enough. According to YouTube channel UbiCentral that basically covers everything Ubisoft, the studio is currently working on the third chapter of the
Watch_Dogs franchise. Basing solely on the facts pointed out in the video, there's a big chance we will see
Watch_Dogs 3 at this year's E3 in Los Angeles. Funnily enough, the game was revealed by Ubisoft's AI.
Watch_Dogs 2 was hinting at the series' future, teasing a trip to London, back in 2016. Just last week, Ubisoft updated its Uplay service with a hacking joke celebrating April Fools. There was also a short tweet posted by Ubisoft, "
This is everything", which was deleted by the publisher. It looks like Ubisoft’s gaming assistant AI Sam has brought the ultimate proof that
Watch_Dogs 3 exists.
You can ask Sam (available only in Canada) abou
t Watch_Dogs 3 and here's what the AI has to say: “
Watch_Dogs 3 is not finished yet, but from the last early build I tried it’s very solid. The Dev team works wonders! Can’t wait for you to try it!" As of now, the game hasn't been officially confirmed, so as always, take this rumor with a grain of salt, but don't forget that "
everything is connected"...
