As it turns out, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is indeed getting Dragon Ball Super content as the game's first DLC, and new information shared on the latest issue of Famitsu magazine has revealed that Super Saiyan God Goku and Super Saiyan Vegeta will both be playable once the DLC becomes available.
Players who have already had the chance know that characters in their Super Saiyan forms are playable only when they're playiong through the game's story mode, but not inbetween episodes or after they've completed the game, so these new transformations will be exclusive to the DLC's "A New Awakening (Part One): Whis' Training" episode.
This brand-new episode will allow players to level up Goku and increase his stats in order to awaken the Super Saiyan God transformation. It is still unclear what exactly do they mean with Super Saiyan Vegeta, considering that this is a transformation that players already have access to halfway through the game.
Bandai Namco has yet to reveal more details about the Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot DLC, so we should keep our eyes peeled for further information about it — especially about this additional content's official release date.
