Following last week's multiplayer reveal for Battlefield 6, EA gave players a chance to score codes to the early access portion of the Open Beta. As previously announced, EA will be hosting two Open Beta weekends throughout August. The first is scheduled to run from August 9th-10th; however, there wil be an early access period that takes place on August 8th and 9th.

Codes for this early access period were given to anyone who watched various content creators stream the game following the reveal. If you missed it, you were out of luck. Or so we thought.

EA is giving fans another chance to score a early access code, and it's quite simple. All you have to do is watch 30 minutes of any content creator streaming Battlefield 6 during the beta.

"Watch 30 minutes of any creator streaming Battlefield 6 on Twitch during August 7-8 to unlock Open Beta Early Access," EA confirmed on social media.

Once you receive a code, you'll have to log into your EA Account and redeem it, then link your platforms to your EA account to play on any platform.

Watching streamers play Battlefield 6 during the beta has other benefits as well. EA confirmed there will be a series of  Twitch Drops during the Open Beta event. By waching streamers play the open beta during either weekend on Twitch, you can unlock the following skins and cosmetics:

  • Shattered Vehicle Skin
  • Mimic Weapon Package
  • Landslide Soldier Skin
  • Imperial Soldier Skin

Watching Twitch for 30 minutes is pretty painless, but there is another way to get early access, and that's to be an EA Play Pro member.

If you aren't around this weekend, a second open beta weekend is planned for August 14th-17th. this will be completely open from the start and will not require any sort of early access to jump in and start playing.

Early access isn't just a way to get players excited for the game. It's a way for EA to gauge server stability as well as gain valuable insight and feedback from the Battlefield community. They can learn what's working and what needs fixing before the game releases in October. The open beta for both weekends will be playable on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, and EA App), Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.
