Lock and load because it's almost time for all-out warfare. Anticipation has been building for months and now the wait is just about. Battlefield 6 officially arrives this Friday, and here's everything to know about it's launch, including global release times, early access, and purchase details.
For starters, Battlefield 6 will be avaliable on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Two versions of the game are available for purchase: the Standard Edition for $69.99 and the Phantom Edition for $99.99. Both include the Tombstone Pack pre-order bonus, while the Phantom Edition tacks on the Battlefield Pro Token, Phantom Pack, and Phantom XP Boost Set.
Unfortunately, there is no Early Access for Battlefield 6, even if you purchase the more expensive edition. This means Battlefield 6 will unlock at the same time across Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PS5.

In celebration of Battlefield 6's launch, EA is giving away more cosmetic items via Twitch Drops. Tuning into to the Twitch streams of participating creators during Battlefield 6's launch week (October 10 through October 17) will unlock a Weapons Package, a Soldier, Skin, and more.
Battlefield 6 is the first new game in the long-running franchise in four years. Following a few disappointing releases, EA and DICE have put forth a community-first effort when developing Battlefield 6 and initial impressions have been overwhelmingly positive. The open beta was a huge success with over 500,00 concurrent players on Steam. And while there was plenty of feedback to adjust things like class balance and map layout, the overall sentiment has been cautiously optimistic.
Now just a few hours away from launch, that optimism is full-blown excitement.
