MARVEL's Avengers, Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics' highly anticipated new game based on the Earth's Mightiest Heroes, is only a bit over a month away from finally becoming available; giving players a rather different take on the popular characters created by MARVEL Comics.
The game was initially expected to release in May of this year, but the developers deemed necessary to polish some details, which is why the game is now launching on Friday the 4th of September for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC(Steam, Windows), Stadia, and even the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
On that note, Square Enix has already confirmed that the PlayStation 5 version of MARVEL's Avengers — which is an enhanced edition of the game — will be completely free for those players who have already purchased the game for the PlayStation 4; a nice incentive to play the best version of a game they already own.
MARVEL's Avengers will also be getting a proper art book, as it is expected from pretty much every video game these days, and today Square Enix has given us our first look at the book's official cover, which sees the Avengers fighting a bunch of AIM, and also gives us our first look at what seems to be a Tony Stark-designed suit for Captain America.
Also, the MARVEL's Avengers - The Art of the Game book will become available in the United Kingdom on the 4th of September, the same day the game officially hits store shelves worldwide, and on the 8th of September in the United States.
