Square Enix has released the official E3 2018 screenshots for the upcoming
Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The images below come from the PC version following the announcement of a collaboration between Square, Eidos-Montréal, Crystal Dynamics, Nvidia and Nixxes (the studio that ported
Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days, Rise of the Tomb Raider and
Hitman: Absolution), to craft the best possible PC experience.
Just like the previous two games in the rebooted series, Lara's next adventure in
Shadow of the Tomb Raider is going to be a dark and gritty one as Ms. Croft will take an even darker, almost villainous turn, and thanks to Nvidia's additional tools, options and stackable filters you'll be able to frame and capture your own unique screenshots in the game’s beautifully-rendered and shockingly brutal world.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider is being developed by Eidos Montreal (which acquired Crystal Dynamics in 1998), creators of the last two
Deus Ex games (
Human Revolution &
Mankind Divided) and the recent
Thief reboot. To demonstrate the PC power, be sure to check out several world exclusive 4K NVIDIA Ansel
Shadow of the Tomb Raider screenshots, taken from a work-in-progress version of the game:

In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Lara must master a deadly jungle, overcome terrifying tombs, and persevere through her darkest hour. As she races to save the world from a Maya apocalypse, Lara will ultimately be forged into the Tomb Raider she is destined to be.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 14th.
