During this year's E3, Frogwares announced that they would be bringing
The Sinking City — their brand-new title based on H.P. Lovecraft literature — to the Nintendo Switch; expecting for the game to release at some yet-to-be-determined date
this Fall.
The Sinking City was already released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in June of this year and the developer is aiming for the Nintendo Switch version to be an equally enjoyable experience; considering the limitations of the handheld hybrid console, of course.
Today, Frogwares has released an update trailer for the Nintendo Switch version of
The Sinking City, sharing some interesting details about the process of porting the game as accurately as possible — although some changes obviously had to be made in order to give Switch owners the full Lovecraftian experience.
Check it out:
The Sinking City is a game of investigation and mystery taking place in a fictional open world inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft. The player steps into the shoes of a 1920s private investigator who finds himself in the city of Oakmont Massachusetts, New England. A city suffering from unprecedented floods of clearly supernatural origins, a city trembling on the brink of madness.
The Sinking City will be available for the Nintendo Switch this Fall.
