Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy (which will be finally available for Nintendo Switch on Jun 29, 2018) was a beautiful throwback to the early years of 3D platformers from the first PlayStation era. With no doubt, Vicarious Visions' work managed to capture the childish magic of playing Crash Bandicoot.
The first trailer for
Reignited Trilogy and the recently released screenshots confirmed that the remaster will challenge 2016's
Ratchet & Clank and last year's
Crash for the title of the best-looking platformer of this generation of consoles. As a reminder, the upcoming collection features the first three games with the purple hero:
Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!, and
Spyro: Year of the Dragon.
PlayStation Access had a chance to play three levels from
Spyro Reignited Trilogy - Toasty, Tree Tops and Sunny Flight at E3 2018, and you can check out their impressions and 10 minutes of pure gameplay down below. It definitely seems that developer Toys for Bob will deliver a beautifully looking game, and the gliding mechanic looks like a ton of fun as the final product may have a chance to bring on a flood of emotions and memories, that rare kind of joy and happiness. Take a look:
Spyro has been unleashed! He’s all scaled up and ready to flare up some bad guys in Spyro Reignited Trilogy, a dynamic gaming collection that’s going to have fans “Spyro-ing” out of control on Sept. 21. In Spyro Reignited Trilogy, gliding to new heights, unleashing fire-breathing attacks, and exploring lush environments is more fun in HD graphical glory on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro and the family of Xbox One devices from Microsoft, including the Xbox One X. Spyro Reignited Trilogy introduces players to a fully remastered game collection of the three original Spyro™ games that started the phenomenon: Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage!, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 21, 2018.
