This patch was posted on Reddit and is now available for all consoles. Respawn released this patch in hopes that it could reduce game crashes and other gameplay bugs that players have been noticing. Some players were reporting that there were exploits in the game that came with trying to do some tricks and supposedly this patch will completely remove them.

Some other updates that came with the patch, are fixing crash issues that have been going on with PS4 users as well as a bug that would go on when a player pressed a button early while in a loading process. Some reports also said that the Mirage Ability was guilty of causing crashes, which should not happen anymore. This is the official list of changes posted on Reddit:

SERVER PATCH

“We pushed a server patch today to all platforms addressing a few issues:

Addressed issue where players were able to skydive longer distances than intended when launching from Jump Towers.
Fixed issue with Havoc crashing the game in certain situations.
Fixed exploit where players could refill ammo in the inventory screen for the Kraber and Mastiff.”

The bug that allowed players to travel farther while in the air was reported more times than the rest as well as being the one people witnessed through YouTube videos. The Havoc energy rifle was just recently added so it makes no sense why it would cause a bug that brought crashes. The ammo exploit allowed players to reload their Krabers and Mastiffs by going to the inventory screen and acquiring more ammo. This was a problem because these weapons are supposed to have limited ammo that can not be restocked.

Apex Legends is the game that broke Fortnite’s record of players in its first week, reaching 25 million. It was a game that hit hard very quickly which is why bugs and glitches seem to be normal as of right now. What do you think about the fixed issues? Did you experience any of them? “Show ‘em what you’re made of in Apex Legends, a free-to-play Battle Royale game where contenders from across the Frontier team up to battle for glory, fame, and fortune.”

Apex Legends is out now for the PS4, Xbox One, and Origin on PC
