A new series is joining the highly anticipated anime/manga crossover fighting game
Jump Force, as
Rurouni Kenshin's as the villanous Makoto Shishio and series' main protagonist Kenshin Himura join the roster as playable characters.
Rurouni Kenshin is a manga series created by Nobuhiro Watsuki that follows the story of a legendary swordsman named Kenshin, who has to deal with his bloody past as he bowed not to kill a single person again. The manga originally ran from 1994 to 1999, eventually getting an animated series, a couple of animated movies, and even 3 live action films that re-told the events of the first couple of seasons from the anime/manga.
Now, Bandai Namco's
Jump Force will be adding
Rurouni Kenshin's Makoto Shishio and Kenshin Himura, and today the developer has shared some awesome high resolution screenshots of both characters in action.
Rurouni Kenshin joins the long list of anime/mangas featured in
Jump Force, which already features characters from
Dragon Ball,
Naruto,
One Piece,
Yu Yu Hakusho,
Hunter X Hunter,
Yu-Gi-Oh!,
Bleach,
Death Note,
Saint Seiya,
City Hunter, and
Fist of the North Star.
