Siegfried made his first appearance in Soul Edge, which is the first game in the Soul Calibur series, and has been one of the few characters that have been in every game since, alongside Mitsurugi and Cervantes (who's still waiting to be officially announced).

As one of the wielders of the Soul Calibur blade, and one of the min characters of the series, Siegfried has a huge fanbase and fans can now rest knowing that he will not be surrendering to his nightmare.

Today we got confirmation that Siegfried will, indeed, be making an appearance in the game as Bandai Namco revealed him to be the newest character to join the Soul Calibur VI roster.

Be sure to check out the latest gameplay trailer down below:

SOULCALIBUR VI represents the latest entry in the premier weapons-based, head-to-head fighting series and continues the epic struggle of warriors searching for the legendary Soul Swords. Taking place in the 16th century, revisit the events of the original SOULCALIBUR to uncover hidden truths.

SoulCalibur VI still hasn't been given an official date but is expected to be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC this 2018.
