We may have some potentially good news for fans of Arc System Works' heavily praised Dragon Ball FighterZ, as Broly — from the Dragon Ball Super: Broly animated movie — could be joining the game's roster very soon.

The information is actually pretty much official, as it was revealed on the latest issue of Jump magazine, and it reveals that Broly(DBS) will become available in Dragon Ball FighterZ on the 5th of December — but there is a caveat: the date has only been confirmed for Japan.

Now, the good news is that these character releases usually end up becoming available worldwide at the same time. If anything, it could be a few days since the character releases in Japan until it releases here in the West. We'll just have to wait for an official announcement from Bandai Namco.

After the success of the Xenoverse series, it’s time to introduce a new classic 2D DRAGON BALL fighting game for this generation’s consoles. DRAGON BALL FighterZ is born from what makes the DRAGON BALL series so loved and famous: endless spectacular fights with its allpowerful fighters.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC.
