According to the latest rumor doing the rounds, Janema is the next and final character — part of the FighterZ Season Pass 2 — that will be joining the roster of Bandai Namco and Arc System Works' critically acclaimed
Dragon Ball FighterZ.
The character was leaked by Microsoft's Larry "Major Nelson" Hyrb, who in the latest episode of This Week on Xbox, he revealed that Kid Goku from
Dragon Ball GT and Janemba would be receiving some new "skins".
For starters, skins aren't a thing in
Dragon Ball FighterZ, and Hyrb alluding to Kid Goku and Janemba being skins means that he meant "characters"; especially since Kid Goku was recently released and we know that there is still one more character to be revealed for the FighterZ Pass 2.
Things get a little bit more interesting when Xbox, on their official YouTube channel, jokingly stated that Hyrb name-dropping Janemba was not a leak but an announcement for the character.
As of yet, this is still only but a rumor, since neither Bandai Namco or Arc System Works have confirmed Janemba as the last character for the FIghterZ Pass 2. If this was the case, however, we'd soon be getting a trailer for Janemba, and hopefully an official release date.
After the success of the Xenoverse series, it’s time to introduce a new classic 2D DRAGON BALL fighting game for this generation’s consoles. DRAGON BALL FighterZ is born from what makes the DRAGON BALL series so loved and famous: endless spectacular fights with its allpowerful fighters.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC.
