The fighting series adds 12 new legends to the Marvel vs. Capcom 3 line-up, bringing the total overall roster of characters to 50. The new fighters include zombie-slayer Frank West, Phoenix Wright, Vergil, Nemesis, Strider and Firebrand from Capcom and cosmic defender Rocket Raccoon, Nova, Iron Fist, Doctor Strange, Ghost Rider and Hawkeye from Marvel.
Capcom also released a new extended cinematic trailer for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 showing off the new characters.
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 also includes enhancements and features to improve the game's balance and online functionality. One of the biggest additions to Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is the fan-requested Spectator Mode, which allows fighters to watch live online matches together.
Heroes and Heralds, free downloadable content that will be available after launch, is a new single-player and multiplayer team-based mode where you unlock brand-new abilities with upgrade cards, customize your favorite character with new powers and compete in groups as either Heroes defending Earth from Galactus or as one of Galactus' Heralds.
The game is rated "T for Teen" by the ESRB and is now available for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
