Monster Hunter: World’s much-anticipated first free major title update is slated to arrive on March 22, Capcom
announced today.
With it will come the arrival of the terrifying Deviljho in the New World. The developer teased
“This fearsome Brute Wyvern is sure to wreak some serious havoc and bring massive headaches to any unsuspecting hunters… but those who fell this violent beast will be handsomely rewarded.”
Slaying the Deviljho will reward you with materials that can craft 2 complete armor sets — Vangis α and Vangis β —as well as a new entry in each of the 14 existing weapon types, including brand new Deviljho designs for Sword and Shield, Hunting Horn, Bow, Insect Glaive and Charge Blade. Take a look at them below.
Additionally, the update will bring a number of tweaks, adjustments, and bug fixes to most weapon types. It’s mostly all buffs, so no need to worry about your favorite weapon getting the nerf bat. Capcom will share a more comprehensive list of patch notes once the title update goes live, but for now check out what weapon tweaks you can expect to see on March 22.
