The Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath announcement took fans of the iconic fighting series by surprise, since no one really saw it coming. NetherRealm Studios, like many other fighting game developers, tends to release definitive versions of their games, but the Aftermath expansion doesfeel like something special already.
Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, much like the name appropriately suggests, is giving players a brand-new campaign that picks up right were we left off at the end of the original game's main campaign, so they will be able to know what happened to Raiden and Liu Kang after they defeated Kronika.
What was probably more surprising was the fact that Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath is bringing with it three new fighters for players to choose from: Sheeva, Fujin, and RoboCop from Paul Verhoeven's critically acclaimed RoboCop film — who, by the way, is being voiced by Peter Weller.
NetherRealm Studios has been having a bit of fun while revealing new information about these three new fighters, as they have been releasing character trailers that give us more information about them; all three narrated by the man himself, Johnny Cage.
Now that Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath is less than 24 hours away from finally be coming available, the developer has released a quick recap video that promises to bring players up to date with the events that took place during Mortal Kombat 11, and what prompts the events in Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath; narrated by Johnny Cage, once again.
