Johnny Cage, one of the most famous and beloved
Mortal Kombat fighters, will be playable in the upcoming eleventh entry in the insanely brutal game series, NetherRealm Studios officially announced today. Cage, one of the original seven characters in 1992's
Mortal Kombat, will once again bring his unique fighting style and flavor to the series, including his new fatality (featuring his own stunt double).
Considering that he was created as a parody of Jean-Claude Van Damme and the actor's character in
Bloodsport, it's not surprising that his new finishing move is one of the funniest things you'll see today.
At the time of writing, NetherRealm had revealed that Baraka, D'Vorah, Geras, Jade, Kabal, Kano, Scorpion, Shao Kahn, Skarlet, Sonya Blade, Raiden, and Sub Zero will be fully playable in
Mortal Kombat 11, with the one and only Johnny Cage as the latest addition to the game's ever-expanding cast.
