Mortal Kombat 11 was announced last week during The Game Awards, leaving fans of the series excited for the long-awaited new entry in the gorey fighting series by NetherRealm and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
From what we saw in the trailer,
Mortal Kombat 11 is pulling no punches when it comes to the level of violence and gore fans have come to expect from a
Mortal Kombat title but, besides from the trailer, we didn't really get much information about the project as a whole.
Now, as new information is leaked via
GameStop Italy's website, we have some more details regarding NetherRealm's
Mortal Kombat 11; including the game's new GoreTech System, as well as a new image for series' main villain: Shao Kahn.
GameStop Italy lists this new information as part of the
Mortal Kombat 11 Premium Edition, which details the game's new engine, customisation system, new Fatalities, and a new multiplayer component that will seemingly focus on being more esports-friendly.
The listing on GameStop Italy reads as follows:
