Fans of the Mortal Kombat series were utterly surprised when NetherRealm Studios revealed that the latest entry in the series was getting an expansion in the form of Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath — which is an expansion that adds new content, as well as three new characters for players to choose from.
Veteran fighters Sheeva and Fujin were revealed to be joining the game's roster as part of the new expansion, and RoboCop would join them as the new guest character — who, by the way, has also been revealed to be voiced by Peter Weller; the man who played the character in the Paul Verhoeven-directed RoboCop.
After the Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath announcement, the developer shared a gameplay trailer that gave us our first look at Sheeva, Fujin, and RoboCop in action. In fact, early today NetherRealm Studios also shared an exciting fight between Terminator and Robocop — which is almost a dream come true for fans of both franchises.
Yesterday, however, NetherRealm Studios also promised that the latest Kombat Kast episode would be focusing on The Wind God himself — as well as Raiden's younger brother — Fujin, and they have delivered; giving players an in-depth look at the long-neglected fan-favourite character.
