Earlier this month, NetherRealm Studios teased that they would be revealing a new saga for Mortal Kombat 11. What fans didn't expect, however, was that this new saga would not be an afterthought, but a brand-new campaign that follows the events of the game's main campaign.
That's right, Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath is giving players an all-new campaign that will see present time Shang Tsung, Fujin, and Nightwolf forming what looks like an unlikely alliance with Raiden and Liu Kang — who has now become the new God of Fire; all of this taking place right after he defeated Kronika.
In fact, NetherRealm Studios released a handy recap video earlier today, in which Johnny Cage brings players up to date with the events that took place in Mortal Kombat 11, and some of the events that will take place in Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, so be sure to check that out if you're, well, not up to date on that.
For those who still cannot wait a few more hours until Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath becomes available, NetherRealm Studios has shared the latest episode in the Kombat Kast series; releasing over 30 minutes worth of gameplay that showcases Sheeva and RoboCop.
