Earlier today, NetherRealm Studios announced Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath — an expansion that brings even more content and new characters to the base game — with an amazing trailer and an official release date, which will see the game becoming available on the 26th of May.
The developer also revealed that a free update, also set to release on the 26th of May, will be adding Stage Fatalities, new stages, and the classic, and hilarious Friendships(Friendships?) that have been part of the series since the now iconic Mortal Kombat II.
Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath expansion is also adding Fujin, Sheeva, and RoboCop — who Mortal Kombat series co-creator already confirmed is being voiced by Peter Weller — to the game's roster, as well as an all-new cinematic campaign that starts right after the events of Mortal Kombat 11.
As if that weren't enough announcements about Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, NetherRealm Studios has yet another surprise in store for fans, as they have just released a story clip from the expansion's new cinematic campaign — which sees Fujin, Sheeva, Nightwolf, and Shang Tsung running into a group of Tarkatans led by Baraka and Erron Black.
