It had been a while since we had any news about NetherRealm Studios' critically acclaimed Mortal Kombat 11. Sure, the final character part of the Kombat Pass was just made available in March of this year, but we had known about the character's existence since August of last year.
Today we have some great news for Mortal Kombat fans, as the developer has revealed that more content is coming our way. In. classic NetherRealm fashion, however, they have only given us a tease of what's to come.
The teaser actually picks up where we left off at the end of Mortal Kombat 11 with Raiden and Liu Kang in his new Fire God form about to begin writing a new history, when they are interrupted by Shang Tsung and two mysterious characters.
While we have already seen Shang Tsung, because he was the first DLC character to become available, he didn't play a role in the game's main story, so it will be interesting to see what he has planned for Liu Kang and Raiden.
According to NetherRealm, they will be releasing the full trailer tomorrow, so we will have to wait to see what this new epic saga has in store for us. In the meantime, be sure to check out the teaser trailer down below.
