My Hero One's Justice 2 had a somewhat of a rocky start. It wasn't even about the game itself, since the announcement was made a little bit over a year since its prequel had released — raising a few red flags amongst fans of both My Hero Academia series and the first game.
Fortunately, the developers were quick to address these issues that fans had with the sequel — which many considered, or at least at first, that it should've been added to the first game as DLC — by revealing that a bunch of new characters, destructible stages, and gameplay mechanics were being introduced in My Hero One's Justice 2; justifying it as a proper sequel.
My Hero One's Justice 2 was finally released in March of this year to some very positive reviews from fans of My Hero Academia, as well as fans of the 3v3 fighting game genre; with Bandai Namco and developer Byking also revealing that they still had some surprises in store for players.
Just last month, in fact, the developers officially announced that Mei Hatsume would be the second fighter to join the roster in My Hero One's Justice 2 as part of the game's DLC, after Hawks was made available in June, and that more information would be shared at a later date.
Today, Bandai Namco and Byking have released an action-packed gameplay trailer that shows off Mei Hatsume in all of her glory, kindly reminding players that U.A.'s brightest inventor has just become available in My Hero One's Justice 2 today.
