SNK announced in October of last year that they would be bringing back
Samurai Shodown, their acclaimed sword-fighting series, after over a decade since the last game saw the light of day.
Samurai Shodown has already been confirmed not to be a sequel to
Samurai Shodown V, but a complete series' reboot that will see all of the original characters making a comeback while also introducing few new characters to keep things fresh.
The beautiful art-style that SNK chose for the new
Samurai Shodown is also something that stands out, and for all the right reasons; giving the game a very anime-looking style that makes every character and every stage pop.
In order to get fans even more excited for
Samurai Shodown, SNK has decided to release an action-packed trailer that introduces us to Nakoruru, who is actually making a comeback as one of the few characters that have been in every game since the Neo Geo era.
