In May of this year, developer nWay announced that the popular Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid was getting a Season 3, which would be adding new characters, new skins, new ultra moves; some of which were being added to the game completely free of charge.
The one thing that the developer didn't mention is when Season 3 would be kicking off, especially since the announcement trailer got players quite excited for the new fighters that would be joining the grid: Robert "RJ" James, Lauren Shiba, and a mysterious fighter that is obviously Scorpina.
Today, nWay has shared an action-packed gameplay trailer for Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, which shows off Robert "RJ" James, the Jungle Fury Purple Ranger himself, has the character finally becomes available today, alongside the Phantom Beast King skin for Dai Shi, as well as the new Samurai Megazord Ultra.
The developers also confirm that the remaining Season 3 characters will be releasing in the coming months, so all players have to do now is patiently wait until they finally become available.
While it may have had somewhat of a rocky start, the developers over at nWay have poured their hearts and souls into making Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid something really special, and the sheer amount of content they have been releasing for the game, both paid and free, are solid proof of it.
